HOW TO BE A LOLITA 2

Description

2. So... Lolita is a movement which claims some principle?

There are as many interpretations as Lolitas Lolita in the world.
The most common interpretations are:

-It's a feminist movement, I dress like a little girl, like I want. Even if I am a girl, I want to like myself, not like a guy.

I don't care the femme fatale stereotype, I cover myself from head to toe with this fashion. *Suck that*. In addition, the most feminine is the best . Even being feminine I can be feminist.

-It is a movement that fights against the systematization of society, stereotypes and fashion. Not everyone has to go with the same clothes, not all the people will let that brands dress us like they say, or being brainwashed us with ideals of what is normal and no, not clones and we will all follow the herd.
I bounced against society, I will counter, I express myself as I am not scared.

Behind all this can be a sense of snobbery.

-The lolita wants to recover the innocence of childhood. Children and adolescents are growing fast pervert, so dream seems ridiculous to a child of only 10 years.

The Lolita wants to recover the sensitivity of people to dress, Lolita wants to teach to people that we can dream dressing up ourselves.

We can have fun as a child even as an adult. Being "adult" doesn't mean to be stretched, we can have fun like when we were innocent children. Behind this principle can be a deep feeling of nostalgia for an idealized childhood and perhaps a Peter Pan syndrome.

-The Lolita is simply an aesthetic taste. It's a whimsical stylistic movement. I wear it because I can not resist this beauty, nothing more. Perhaps one day I am Lolita, perhaps another day I'm Hippie. I like to mix aesthetic without identifying a particular movement. I don't like adopting lifestyles.

-The Lolita is a look into the past. The people who are not happy in this era and in the society. They mentally fly to the past, a past that we idealize because everything seemed more beautiful, bombastic and delicate.

-The lolita is my life. I born lolita, it was in my blood, I dress lolita, and I will die being lolita.

-I feel Lolita but I don't wear this kind of clothes because is too expensive and is frowned upon.

--The lolita is a cosplay that I like, and I wear it to go to Manga conventions.

Many times a Lolita feesl identified with various interpretations. For me are Lolitas all of them except the last, and about the 6th... I don't know what to say. They can be in this situation a while, but if you really are Lolita you will dress it eventually.
